This is a unique combination of the latest teaching from Manchester University where Jane is studying and the local knowledge of experienced, qualified guides

The 8 day course starts on 3rd November 2011 and costs $797 per person (excluding flights, visa and insurance)
All your food and non-alcoholic drinks plus transfers and entrance fees to the ancient sites in included in the price.
What you’ll Learn on the Egyptology Extravaganza:
The structure of the course will be an evening lecture followed by a morning visit with an experienced Egyptian guide. This enables you to get high quality Egyptology knowledge whilst still giving work to the locals.Our guide is Hussain Omar, who I use regularly, and has always been popular with my regular guests who go on Luxor tours with us.
Hussain has an MA in Egyptology and he will attend the evening lectures, ready to show you the key points during your tour and also show you the seldom seen Hidden Luxor sites too.
The course will also include some local cultural tours such as camel rides, felucca sailing.
If you have a partner who wishes to come but not attend the Egyptology side of things we can cater for that. Whether it’s quad biking, hot air ballooning or just relaxing by the pool,, there are plenty of choices.
We can also offer alternative classes in Egyptian Arabic or Egyptian cooking during your stay if you would like to learn more about modern Egyptian life.
Accommodation and full board is included in one of Flats in Luxor high quality apartments. There is no single supplement for your trip, so don’t worry if you want to travel alone.
